Head of Engineering, Field Verification

📋 Description

• Owning the technical strategy, architecture and roadmap for the Field Verification platform end to
• Moving the platform from keep-the-lights-on operation to deliberate, prioritised development
• Leading and growing the existing cross-functional team
• Building the operational efficiency layer (trip and route optimisation, task allocation, capacity
• Owning the platform's client-facing surface: APIs, webhooks, back office
• Delivering a native mobile experience for field officers

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of overall software engineering experience with hands-on production engineering and
• At least 5 years of engineering leadership, including managing Engineering Managers
• Backend environment: Java and Spring Boot
• Capable across backend, web, and mobile
• Built platforms, not just products
• Problem solver, adaptable
