📋 Description

• Shape the strategy - Develop a comprehensive events vision that advances Substack's brand and
• Drive execution excellence - Lead teams through the full event lifecycle, from concept and
• Enable partnerships - Empower the Partnerships team to bring market-specific event ideas to life.
• Scale sponsored events - Work closely with Sponsorships team to scale sponsored events and build a
• Manage resources strategically - Own the global events budget with clear goals, measurement
• Build and lead teams - Coach and develop event producers domestically and internationally.

🎯 Requirements

• 15+ years in experiential event marketing and production, with at least 10 years in a senior role.
• Strategic vision with operational rigor.
• Strong cross-functional relationship-building skills.
• Deep network of premier agencies and vendors in creative, production, and experiential disciplines.
• People leadership skills with the ability to inspire and empower high-performing teams.
• Cultural fluency and understanding of the evolving tech and media landscape.
