Head of Legal & Compliance

📋 Description

• Own commercial contracts with nonprofits, fundraising platforms, DAF sponsors, and banking partners
• Advise cross-functional teams on legal risk as we expand product capabilities and markets
• Build out legal operations infrastructure: templates, playbooks, outside counsel relationships
• Lead Chariot's compliance program — policies, controls, and scalable procedures
• Own BSA/AML, KYC/KYB, and payments regulatory frameworks with banking and platform partners
• Respond to regulatory inquiries and audits; primary contact with banks and regulators

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years in compliance/law, ideally with fintech exposure
• J.D.
• Detail oriented with excellent written/verbal communication
• Proactive with strong people skills and stakeholder influence
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving, cross-functional team
• Deep understanding of financial services, specifically in B2B financial services, banking, and/or digital asset management
