Head of Product Security

📋 Description

• Partner with the Senior Director of Product Security to translate security strategy into priorities
• Hire, develop, and lead Product Security Engineers
• Own team planning, prioritization, and delivery
• Provide technical direction on architecture reviews, threat modeling, and remediation
• Scale team impact through automation, developer tooling, and secure-by-default patterns
• Communicate risks and progress to engineering leaders and build alignment on priorities

🎯 Requirements

• Experience managing Product Security or Application Security engineers at a growing technology
• Strong engineering background with deep expertise in modern application security and cloud-native
• Track record of delivering security improvements through engineering, automation, and close
• Experience hiring, mentoring, and developing security engineers
• Ability to translate broader security goals into focused team priorities and measurable results
• Sound technical judgment and ability to earn credibility with senior engineers and influence
