HR Manager

📋 Description

• Lead the day-to-day people function at Poppy & Peonies
• Manage the core employee lifecycle including onboarding, performance management, benefits, employee
• Oversee culture and employee experience work for a remote-first team
• Partner with founder and leadership team to translate business priorities into practical people
• Develop short- and longer-term workforce plans
• Provide HR guidance grounded in company values, employment practices, and business realities

🎯 Requirements

• Approximately 5–7 years of progressive HR experience, including meaningful generalist responsibility
• Experience operating at an HR Manager, Senior HR Generalist, People Operations Manager, or
• Experience supporting a small but scaling company
• Experience working directly with a founder and senior leaders in a founder-led business
• Strong generalist knowledge across performance management, employee relations, benefits, policies
• Experience coaching managers through performance concerns, feedback conversations, team challenges

🎁 Benefits

• Salary range: $95,000–$110,000 CAD annually
• 15 days of paid vacation
