Implementation Engineer 4 (Perimeter)

📋 Description

• Build, configure, deploy, upgrade, and support Fortinet FortiGate firewalls and TippingPoint IPS
• Lead firewall and IDS/IPS lifecycle initiatives, including hardware and software refreshes
• Plan and execute implementation and maintenance activities, including pre-implementation checks
• Troubleshoot complex network and security issues involving connectivity, routing, traffic
• Develop detailed implementation procedures, deployment guides, technical documentation, and
• Evaluate complex technical requests and translate approved architecture and designs into successful

🎯 Requirements

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 8 years of IT experience working with firewall solutions, including hands-on experience
• Strong practical experience with Fortinet FortiGate firewalls and TippingPoint IPS platforms.
• Experience managing FortiOS and TippingPoint software upgrades and platform lifecycles.
• A strong understanding of enterprise networking fundamentals, including routing, switching, Layer 2
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across network and security infrastructure.
