Information System Security Officer (ISSO) - Mid

📋 Description

• Support development and maintenance of a documented methodology to categorize FBI IT systems
• Apply the methodology across assigned systems in accordance with task order timelines
• Ensure methodology aligns with applicable standards and guidance, including FIPS-199, NIST RMF
• Analyze systems based on risk, operational impact, security posture, and required level of
• Maintain clear documentation supporting system grouping decisions, labor mapping, and support
• Coordinate with program leadership, COR, call order PM, and internal reviewers

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, Information Systems, Computer Science
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity compliance, information assurance, ISSO support, or system
• Active Top Secret clearance required
• Experience supporting system categorization, security control compliance, and risk management under
• Working knowledge of FIPS-199, NIST SP 800-37, NIST SP 800-53, CNSS 1253, Federal RMF processes
• Experience with GRC tools and maintaining system/security data
