Installation Specialist - Pittsburgh, PA

📋 Description

• Conduct comprehensive virtual assessments of restaurant sites
• Validate readiness of wiring, electrical infrastructure, networking, and internet performance
• Perform advanced diagnostics (traceroutes, port checks)
• Install and configure POS hardware (workstations, printers, pin pads, cash drawers, switches
• Complete cabling, patching, and connectivity setup
• Deliver onsite training and live support for staff and management

🎯 Requirements

• 2-3 years of restaurant and/or technical support experience
• Deep understanding of networking infrastructure (low-voltage cabling, routers, switches, Wi-Fi)
• Advanced network testing skills (speed, latency, DNS)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Hands-on experience with restaurant POS systems and multi-terminal deployments
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, CRM platforms, ticketing systems
