Instructional Coach, Biliteracy (NYC) (Fixed-Term)

📋 Description

• Lead professional learning around Amplify Caminos and mCLASS Lectura
• Work with groups of educators in schools and districts to enhance implementation, set goals, and
• Facilitate trainings for groups of up to 150 teachers and/or leaders
• Support school leaders in interpreting implementation health, identified areas of need, and
• Observe teacher practice and provide feedback to individual teachers
• Collaborate with the Amplify team working in the district

🎯 Requirements

• Fluent in Spanish (speaking, reading, writing) and able to deliver trainings in Spanish
• Demonstrated experience teaching foundational skills (phonological/phonemic awareness, phonics
• 3+ years experience leading sustained coaching engagements and professional development for
• 7+ years of K-5 classroom literacy teaching experience with demonstrable results for students
• Experience in a dual language or bilingual educational setting working directly in both English and
• Experience working on collaborative projects with leaders and teachers
