ITAR Compliance Program Manager

📋 Description

• Oversee Axon's ITAR program for defense articles.
• Implement and maintain ITAR program with long-term oversight.
• Classify products, manage ITAR licenses, enforce policy.
• Advise R&D, Engineering, Marketing, Legal, and InfoSec on regs.
• Lead investigations and reporting of ITAR violations.
• Engage regulators (BIS, DDTC) and maintain docs.
• Location: DC, Boston, or Scottsdale offices; hybrid.
• Reports to: Director, Global Trade & Product Compliance.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years ITAR experience; EAR a plus.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Familiar with ITAR/Dept of State and global regs.
• Knowledge of EU Dual-Use controls; UK and Germany regs.
• TAA and other international tech assistance familiarity.
• Multinational supply chain experience.
• Cloud-based data management and project coordination.
