Operate shop equipment including band saws, mills, grinders, and polishing equipment
Cut, machine, and prepare test specimens to required dimensions and tolerances
Perform surface preparation including grinding and polishing for testing and examination
Lead and interpret test requirements and machining instructions
Maintain equipment and tooling in safe working condition
Ensure proper material identification and traceability throughout processing

🎯 Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
2+ years in a machine shop, fabrication environment preferred
2+ years experience in a materials testing lab preferred
Experience performing hydrotesting
