Laboratory Analyst

📋 Description

• Performing routine and specialised laboratory testing on oil, fuel and gas-related samples.
• Interpreting and validating analytical results in line with industry standards and quality
• Operating, calibrating and maintaining laboratory equipment.
• Recording and reporting test data accurately and efficiently.
• Working closely with colleagues to ensure samples are processed within agreed turnaround times.
• Maintaining high standards of laboratory safety, quality and housekeeping.

🎯 Requirements

• Degree or HNC/HND in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline, or equivalent laboratory
• Previous experience in a laboratory environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate results.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced testing environment.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Experience within oil & gas, fuels, petrochemicals, environmental or UKAS/ISO 17025
