Laboratory Equipment Support Technician - TEMPORARY

📋 Description

• Serve as the main point of contact for routine laboratory equipment maintenance needs.
• Refill the incubator water on a routine schedule to ensure proper function.
• Coordinate and perform annual disinfection of incubators and biosafety cabinets.
• Conduct monthly freezer de-icing to support optimal equipment performance.
• Coordinate and perform annual freezer defrosts.
• Communicate effectively with laboratory scientists to schedule maintenance around active testing

🎯 Requirements

• Associate’s degree with 3–5 years of relevant lab experience, OR High school diploma with 5–7 years
• Proven experience with laboratory equipment maintenance
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
