Laboratory Technician

📋 Description

• Support the delivery of a safe, accurate and efficient medical laboratory service
• Assist with the receipt, preparation, processing and storage of patient samples in accordance with
• Support Biomedical Scientists and other laboratory colleagues while maintaining high standards of
• Assist Eurofins in maintaining a high standard in medical testing
• Provide support to clients and colleagues to ensure a first-class service
• Maintain and enhance professional knowledge and skills as required

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum secondary-level education or equivalent
• A relevant science or laboratory qualification is desirable but not essential
• Previous experience in a laboratory, healthcare, sample-processing or other regulated environment
• Experience of following written procedures and maintaining accurate records is desirable
• Working knowledge of laboratory health and safety, confidentiality and good documentation practice
• Working knowledge of sample handling and the importance of accurate patient/sample identification
