Laboratory Technician

📋 Description

• Prepare samples for incubation as per trained areas.
• Assist in the preparation of microbiological culture media and record the necessary Quality Control
• Carry out other functions in support of the Food Microbiology department.
• Work to Eurofins Linlithgow's Quality System showing due care and diligence in all activities.
• Provide general assistance to Laboratory Staff at all levels.
• Carry out housekeeping duties in line with Cleaning Schedules and other documents as required

🎯 Requirements

• Ability to work alone or as part of a team.
• Knowledge of the routine workings of a Lab Environment and the importance of a clean lab.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer literate, ability to use Word and Excel to basic level.
