Laboratory Technician Environmental

📋 Description

• sample reception, sample identification, sample preparation, sample dilutions
• setting up analytical batches and analysis, batch Quality Control (LIMS)
• Ensure samples are logged into LIMS accurately and in a quick manner
• Ensure samples are cataloged and stored efficiently
• Assist laboratory personnel in locating and retrieving samples; responsible for sample disposal or
• Calibration and set up of laboratory equipment prior to analysis

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum high school diploma (or equivalent)
• Post-secondary education in Science (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Environmental Science) is a strong
• No experience required
• Good hand/eye coordination when handling samples & lab equipment
• Comfortable with numerals for monitoring data on computer screen
• Ability to read, understand and follow work instructions safely and accurately
