Laboratory Technician - Geochemistry

📋 Description

• Carry out routine testing and analysis following written work instructions
• Sample identification, preparation, and dilutions
• Log samples into LIMS accurately and quickly
• Catalogue and store samples efficiently
• Assist in locating and retrieving samples; handle sample disposal or return to clients
• Maintain and record equipment calibrations

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
• Laboratory experience is an asset
• Good hand/eye coordination for handling samples and lab equipment
• Comfortable with numbers for computer data monitoring
• Ability to read and follow work instructions safely and accurately
• Work well under pressure during peak workloads
