Lead Accountant

📋 Description

• Serve as a key technical accounting resource for the Finance organization, researching and
• Assess the accounting implications of new products, contracts, partnerships, financing
• Prepare clear, well-supported technical accounting memoranda and position papers, documenting
• Develop, maintain, and improve accounting policies and procedures as the organization and its
• Support the preparation and review of timely and accurate financial statements, including balance
• Lead and review complex areas of the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close, ensuring balances

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including meaningful experience within a Big 4 or
• Strong technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP and experience researching and documenting complex
• Experience preparing or reviewing technical accounting memoranda and supporting accounting
• Strong understanding of financial statements, general ledger accounting, reconciliations, month-end
