Lead Software Engineer — Analytics & Reporting

📋 Description

• Lead the App team for Analytics & Reporting, managing a team of six engineers (3 backend, 2
• Stay hands-on with 20-30% time on architecture, code reviews, and code
• Own customer-facing data APIs and microservices
• Own the Analytics product and custom reporting APIs
• Build and maintain gold-layer datasets for customer reports
• Operate and deploy services on Kubernetes on AWS

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with deep backend expertise on the JVM (Kotlin
• 2+ years leading an engineering team with people responsibility (hiring, 1:1s, performance
• Experience designing, operating, and evolving microservices in production: Kubernetes, AWS
• Strong SQL and analytical data modeling skills
• Experience with RESTful, service-oriented architectures serving external customers at scale
• Frontend fluency (React, TypeScript)
