Legal Counsel (Belgium - Luxemburg)

📋 Description

• Advise on all legal matters for BESIX NV/SA in Belgium and Luxemburg
• Support and advise project teams throughout the contracting cycle, from tender review to hand-over
• Review tender documentation and legal framework
• Draft legal analysis and recommendations, contribute to internal review processes ahead of bidding
• Review and draft all required contractual documentation in the bidding and negotiation phase
• Ensure seamless hand-over upon contract award to project execution teams and contract managers

🎯 Requirements

• University degree in law with a strong academic track record; any additional degree is a plus
• At least 10 years of relevant and demonstrated experience in construction and/or project
• Knowledge of and/or interest in project finance, public private partnerships and public procurement
• Fluent in Dutch and English; good working knowledge of French; any other language is a plus
• Able and willing to combine a 'business enabler' role with an outspoken intellectual independence
• Strong analytical skills; rigorous, methodical, attention to detail
