📋 Description

• Manage and develop the patent portfolio, including working with outside counsel and legal services
• Manage and develop the trademark portfolio, including prosecution, enforcement, jurisdiction
• Advise on transactional intellectual property matters related to trademarks, patents, trade
• Draft, review, and negotiate agreements involving the use, transfer, protection, development, and
• Provide legal guidance on open source licenses
• Provide advice on trademark and patent issues in commercial transactions, product development, and

🎯 Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited US law school and membership in good standing in at least one state bar
• Undergraduate degree in a technical discipline like computer science is a plus
• At least 5 years of legal experience at a national or regional law firm with a strong focus on
• Additional experience as in-house counsel at a consumer tech company is a plus
• Trademark prosecution experience is a plus
• Demonstrated background in IP counseling, such as advising on trademark, patent, and open source
