Machine Learning Engineering Manager, ADAS

📋 Description

• Leading a team of around seven ML engineers, splitting time roughly 60% management and 40% hands-on
• Acting as tech lead across multiple workstreams, setting the vision for how problems get solved
• Reviewing and approving delivery plans for tasks
• Partnering with TPMs on planning and execution, and with Product to help shape priorities
• Coaching and developing ML engineers on the team
• Taking end-to-end AI driving approach into ADAS for a specific OEM production programme

🎯 Requirements

• Expert background in developing ML, specifically computer vision
• People management experience and enjoyment of developing engineers
• Experience working across systems with software developers and product teams, particularly embedded
• Hands-on experience with embedded runtime and inference optimisation, making pragmatic trade-offs
• Clear and thoughtful communication with colleagues across sites and cultures
• Steadiness and ability to keep team moving when requirements are unclear or change often
