Mainframe Engineer

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain Mainframe applications using COBOL, CICS, JCL, DB2, and VSAM.
• Experience in enterprise-level ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Service Manager, etc.) and their
• Worked on waterfall and agile methodology projects; capable of handling - Incidents, Service
• Provide technical troubleshooting and resolution for complex application and integration.
• Conduct performance tuning and optimization of Mainframe applications and database queries.
• Develop technical documentation (Knowledge Base articles, SOPs) for business and support teams

🎯 Requirements

• Education; Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related
• Experience; Extensive experience in mainframe application development, support and maintenance
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in mainframe technologies such as COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, and VSAM.
• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and
