📋 Description

• Lead and grow a team of engineers and scientists for cost-efficient AI models and security.
• Partner with product, research, and teams to frame bets and drive adoption with clear criteria.
• Own end-to-end delivery of high-quality AI systems from research to production.
• Balance quality, latency, cost, and safety; build offline and online evaluation pipelines.
• Foster cross-team collaboration and knowledge sharing within the AI org.
• Support engineers' career growth through coaching and hiring involvement.

🎯 Requirements

• A people-focused manager with experience mentoring engineers in fast-moving domains.
• A technical leader with deep AI/ML expertise: LLMs, RAG, semantic search, NLP.
• Well-versed in evaluation methodologies for AI systems, offline benchmarks and online metrics.
• A strong product instinct: anchor work to customer problems; define success criteria.
• Experience taking AI products from 0 to 1; structure hypotheses and pivot decisions.
• BS/MS/PhD in ML, CS, Eng, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
