📋 Description

• Manage a team of launch mechanical engineers and their projects.
• Set clear priorities and plan work around launch schedules.
• Support engineers with design decisions and problem solving.
• Coordinate staffing, schedules, design reviews, risks, and cross-team work.
• Review launch system designs and develop safe, reliable solutions.
• Hire, train, coach, and evaluate team members; report progress and risks.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
• 5+ years in launch operations, testing, ground systems, or related mechanical systems.
• 1+ year of experience managing an engineering team.
• Strong fundamentals in structures, mechanical design, and fluid systems.
• Experience delivering projects on schedule amid changing priorities.
• Experience mentoring engineers and communicating with leadership.
