Manager, Medical Benefits

📋 Description

• Manage a team of professionals responsible for operations of medical insurance products
• Oversee day-to-day team benefits operations including forecasting, establishing KPIs/SLAs, auditing
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance environment by onboarding, training, development plans
• Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) and service level agreements (SLAs) with partners
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Underwriting, Billing, Customer Support
• Work with Product and Engineering on projects addressing bugs, file feeds, incidents, tooling

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in operations, onboarding role or customer service related field
• Minimum of 2 years of people and team management experience
• Knowledge of benefit or insurance plans
• Experience with ticket management systems (e.g., Jira) and workflows
• Experience with AI and automation tools (e.g., Claude, Gemini, Gumloop)
• Intermediate or advanced knowledge of Excel required
