Manager, Property Accounting

📋 Description

• Own the fixed asset register as the standing record of assets in service, including asset master
• Own the monthly reconciliation of the fixed asset subledger to the general ledger and resolve
• Partner with the project accounting team on the in-service tie-out
• Own the monthly depreciation run and review
• Maintain componentization and useful life assignments in line with policy
• Account for leased fit-out and self-development assets in line with policy

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of accounting experience, with strong background in fixed asset or property accounting
• Demonstrated experience owning a fixed asset subledger and month-end close end to end
• Hands-on experience with depreciation, asset transfers, retirements, disposals, and subledger-to-GL
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and SOX compliance
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally with non-accounting teams
• ERP systems experience required; NetSuite, fixed asset/asset management modules, close/controls
