Manufacturing Engineer I, Turbomachinery

📋 Description

• Produce components and assemblies for the fuel and oxidizer turbopumps of the Aeon-R and Aeon-R Vac
• Own manufacturing trades and develop processes for fabricating, testing, and delivering critical
• Serve as the main point-of-contact between manufacturing and design teams
• Optimize Aeon-R architecture and scale manufacturing operations
• Drive own projects to completion in ambiguous environments
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary groups to solve challenging turbopump issues

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in engineering or related technical field
• Experience with turbopump assembly procedures, including rotor balancing, interference fits
• Manufacturing process experience: Fluids Testing, Machining, Additive
• Knowledge of general assembly and test procedures, including tolerance stack-up analysis
• Experience with Siemens NX or other CAD and analysis tools
• Experience with tooling design, including conceptualization, modeling and drafting, and detailed
