Manufacturing Engineer II, Subassemblies

📋 Description

• Own hardware from design release through build/test/delivery for vehicle subassemblies.
• Develop build flows, work instructions, and test procedures for repeatable execution.
• Support first article builds in a fast-paced env; improve manufacturability.
• Provide hands-on floor support during build/test; resolve issues in real time.
• Coordinate across design, supply chain, production, and test for part readiness and handoffs.
• Contribute to manufacturing systems and tooling, ERP/MES workflows, and docs.

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in engineering; 2+ years hardware build/test in manufacturing.
• Investigate hardware issues and drive root cause analysis with corrective actions.
• Familiar with assembly/test procedures, tolerance analysis, proof testing, and leak checks.
• Interface across design, manufacturing, supply chain, and test teams to ensure quality.
• Self-starter; define and roll out new processes with technicians and vendors.
• GD&T and CAD; two of LOX cleanliness, leak checks, sensor checkouts.
