Manufacturing Engineer II, Subassemblies, Second Shift

📋 Description

• Own hardware from design release through build, test, and delivery for vehicle sub-systems.
• Develop and release build flows, work instructions, and test procedures for repeatable quality.
• Support first article builds, focusing on manufacturability and scalable processes.
• Provide hands-on floor support during build and test; resolve issues in real time.
• Coordinate with design, supply chain, production, and test for part readiness and handoffs.
• Contribute to long-term manufacturing systems and infra, including tooling strategies, ERP/MES workflows.

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in engineering or related field; 2+ years building hardware in manufacturing.
• Investigate hardware issues and drive root-cause with corrective actions.
• Familiar with assembly/test procedures, tolerance analysis, proof testing, and leak checks.
• Interface across design, manufacturing, supply chain, and test teams for quality and schedule.
• Self-starter; define and roll out new processes with technicians, engineers, and vendors.
• Proficient in GD&T and CAD; two of leak checks, sensor checkouts, or tube bending.
