Manufacturing Team Coordinator

📋 Description

• Facilitate tier meetings utilizing Lean Management/Production principles
• Participate in discussions with multiple levels of leadership to identify team objectives and goals
• Ensure positive shift-to-shift communication within department and with other functional groups
• Prepare team member work schedules and operator assignments on a daily and/or weekly basis
• Monitor production schedules and backorders daily and effectively communicate priorities
• Monitor inventory of materials and order/restock materials for Machine Operators

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least two years of experience in all phases of manufacturing processes
• Certification on all equipment and work processes within manufacturing
• Additional coursework in computer and software packages, leadership training, and motivation
• Expert knowledge of interpersonal skills and ability to apply principles in a manufacturing
• Skill in developing and maintaining effective work relationships
