Manufacturing Technician (6 months contract)

📋 Description

• Assemble, test, repair and refurbish cutting-edge instrumentation integrating lasers, electro-optic
• Electronics box-build and optical alignment, including sub-assembly components and full system
• Produce electrical harnesses, assemble electronic sub-systems, and assemble/align optical
• Perform Final Acceptance Testing (FAT) and produce equipment to detailed Work Instructions and
• Understand, design and implement lean manufacturing techniques for electronic and optical systems.
• Work with bills of material, part procurement and stock holding for forward planning.

🎯 Requirements

• University degree in relevant discipline or relevant industry experience.
• Relevant industrial operations experience (approx. 3 years).
• Ability to work to strict deadlines.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to Continuous Improvement and data accuracy.
• Experience working in a laboratory environment requiring PPE and handling of lasers and optics.
