Mechanical / API Inspector - Contract

📋 Description

• Perform Mechanical Integrity Inspections (API 510, API 570, API 653)
• Verify compliance with API 510, API 570, and API 653 codes, satisfying federal, provincial, or
• Audit owner-user inspection management systems, corrosion monitoring programs, and risk-based
• Determine corrosion rates, safe operating limits, and next inspection intervals
• Witness weld repairs, review traveler/weld map packages, and verify post-weld heat treatment or
• Issue traceable, code-compliant inspection reports

🎯 Requirements

• API 510, API 570, API 653 certifications (all 3 preferred, but API 510 and 570 a must)
• Minimum of seven (7) years of API-related equipment inspection experience
• At least three (3) years in Quality Assurance / vendor surveillance / shop inspections
• Industrial experience in Oil & Gas, Power & Utility, Construction, or Manufacturing
• Inspection experience of pressure vessels, heat exchanger shells and channels, air coolers
• Experience in witnessing NDE tests (UT, PT, MT, RT, etc.) and verifying test reports

🎁 Benefits

• Rate: CAD $50-$55 per hour
• Agreement length: 2 years
• Intermittent assignments (not full-time)
• Openings: 2-3 inspectors at each location
• Travel expenses covered at cost when inspection site is beyond 200 km round trip and overnight stay
