Mechanical / API Inspector - Contract

📋 Description

• Perform Mechanical Integrity Inspections (API 510, API 570, API 653)
• Verify compliance with API 510, API 570, and API 653 codes
• Audit owner-user inspection management systems, corrosion monitoring programs, and Risk-Based
• Determine long-term and short-term corrosion rates, safe operating limits, and next inspection
• Witness weld repairs, review traveler/weld map packages, and verify post-weld heat treatment (PWHT)
• Issue traceable, code-compliant inspection reports

🎯 Requirements

• API 510, API 570, API 653 (all 3 preferred; API 510 and 570 a must)
• Minimum of seven (7) years API-related equipment inspection experience, including three (3) years
• Industrial experience in Oil & Gas, Power & Utility, Construction, Manufacturing, etc.
• Inspection experience of pressure vessels, heat exchanger shells and channels, air coolers
• Experienced in witnessing NDE test (UT, PT, MT, RT, etc.) and verifying test reports

🎁 Benefits

• CAD $50–$55 per hour
• 2-year agreement
• Intermittent assignments as and where required
• Travel expenses covered at cost when inspection site is beyond 200 km round trip from residence and
• Openings: 2–3 inspectors at each location
