Mechanical Design Engineer

📋 Description

• Leverage engineering fundamentals to solve complex technical challenges and support key design
• Produce detailed mechanical designs using a range of CAD and CAE tools.
• Maintain product documentation in accordance with established engineering processes and procedures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary stakeholders to ensure robust, manufacturable, and compliant
• Perform engineering change activities while maintaining BOM integrity and configuration control.
• Produce engineering drawings in accordance with BS 8888 standards.

🎯 Requirements

• Demonstrable experience in mechanical design engineering within defence, aerospace, security, or
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals and product development processes.
• Experience producing detailed mechanical designs and technical documentation.
• Proficiency with CAD tools and supporting CAE applications.
• Experience creating engineering drawings to BS 8888 standards.
• Knowledge of engineering change processes, BOM management, and configuration control.
