Mechanical Engineer

📋 Description

• Drive mechanical component development from initial concept to mass production, building
• Collaborate closely with Electrical, Firmware, and Optical engineers to ensure seamless
• Lead mechanical validation tests, such as fit, stress, and thermal analysis, and support design
• Apply expert knowledge of DFM/DFA to optimize designs for performance, cost, and manufacturability
• Lead rigorous design reviews, risk assessments, and FMEAs while managing all engineering
• Coordinate directly with suppliers and internal teams to ensure quality, cost, and schedule

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in mechanical design, specifically within consumer electronics, IoT devices, or
• Proficiency in CAD and CAE tools, specifically SolidWorks or PTC Creo
• Demonstrated track record of designing plastic parts for injection molding and selecting materials
• Deep technical understanding of mechanical design principles and GD&T based on ISO or ASME
• Skilled in performing rigorous tolerance stack-up analysis and using lab tools for hardware
• Strong work ethic and an ownership mindset, with the ability to communicate technical risks
