Mechanical Engineer II (Onsite)

📋 Description

• Design custom mechanical stations, tooling, station layouts, mechanisms, and framing for automated
• Partner with R&D and NPI teams to build Proof-of-Principle (PoP) benchtop prototypes and
• Assist in drafting Functional Design Specifications (FDS), defining station mechanics, sequences
• Assemble, plumb, align, and commission custom machinery, utilizing technician support when
• Lead design reviews, FAT/SAT executions, and support Production until target OEE baselines are met.
• Create and maintain technical documentation packages including CAD drawings, Master BOMs, spare

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in automation engineering or a related field.
• Proficient 3D CAD skills (SolidWorks preferred) and strong DFM/DFA knowledge (machining, injection
• Experience integrating servos, pneumatics, indexers, feeders, robotics, and machine vision.
• Practical understanding of technical machine specifications (FDS), cycle time calculations, and
