Mechanical Safety Engineer

📋 Description

• Design and develop engineering controls that eliminate or reduce workplace hazards.
• Apply mechanical engineering principles to improve safety, ergonomics, material handling, and
• Develop solutions including mechanical lifting and handling devices, ergonomic workstation
• Lead projects from concept through implementation.
• Create engineering drawings, specifications, and design packages.
• Develop prototypes and proof-of-concept solutions.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related course of study.
• 5+ years of engineering experience involving equipment design, product development, manufacturing
• Demonstrated experience taking projects from concept through implementation.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with fabrication vendors, machine shops, equipment suppliers, or maintenance
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
