Mechatronics Engineer

📋 Description

• Own projects end to end: Understand problems and turn them into specifications
• Generate ideas and choose the right mechanism
• Design solutions in CAD and prove them with engineering calculations
• Prototype and build, machining parts in in-house CNC shop
• Program machine behavior on in-house robotics operating system
• Conceive new mechanisms for electronics parts and robotic handling

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience building systems, ideally robots
• Ability to diagnose system-wide failures from first principles
• Prototype mechanical and software fixes on the fly
• Work autonomously and communicate clearly with distributed teams
• Take responsibility for machine performance in live production
• Knowledge of designing for machining
