Medical Assistant

📋 Description

• Prepare participants for appointments, including but not limited to setting up exam rooms, checking
• Perform required pre-exam physical tests, such as measuring and documenting participants’ vital
• Perform general medical procedures, such as dressing changes and suture removals, as directed and
• Collect and prepare laboratory specimens as ordered, and perform routine sterilization procedures
• Maintain clinic logs and ensure exam rooms are properly stocked, sanitized, and re-prepped at all

🎯 Requirements

• Certification by a medical assistant certifying organization approved by the state medical board
• Two (2) years of experience working as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting with a frail or
• Two (2)-year degree program in medical assistance
• Phlebotomy experience required
• Reliable means of transportation
• Must obtain CPR and First Aid certification within 180 days of hire and maintain certification
