Responsible for covering clinical offices based on operational need
Assists in the examination of patients under the direction of a Physician
Maintaining smooth patient flow by accurate assessment of patients' needs
Collecting patient data, maintaining accurate charting and record keeping
Logging appropriate procedures and tests, keeping billing and patient charges current
Documenting patient instructions, injections, and scheduled medications accurately

🎯 Requirements

High School or GED required
Graduate from a recognized medical assistant program required
Two years experience working as a Medical Assistant in a multi-specialty group setting required
Medical Assistant certification and current BLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, memos, and write
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers
