Medical Testing Engineer

📋 Description

• Evaluating electrical and electronic equipment for compliance with applicable safety standards
• Reviewing schematics, critical components, construction details
• Identifying potential safety hazards, including electric shock, fire, energy hazards, mechanical
• Drafting applicable test programs and test reports
• Developing test plans and test datasheets
• Performing and/or witnessing safety testing

🎯 Requirements

• Associate's degree in a technical field (electrical engineering, technology), minimum
• Bachelor's in Engineering, preferred
• Minimum 3-5+ years of experience working in an NRTL Laboratory (UL, CSA, TUV, Intertek, Eurofins)
• Familiar with basic safety standards including 62368-1, 61010-1, 60335-1
• Medical standards include 60601-1 and -2 particulars
• Able to independently draft test plans, write NRTL, CB, CE reports
