Migration Architect

📋 Description

• Lead end-to-end design of AWS migration solutions across infrastructure and apps.
• Run discovery with AWS Application Discovery Service or Migration Hub to assess state and risks.
• Translate discovery into migration designs and wave plans; select strategies per workload.
• Design target state architectures on AWS: compute, storage, networking, security.
• Work with delivery/project managers to align technical approach with timelines.
• Support migration waves using AWS MGN, DMS, or Application Migration Service; resolve issues.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven track record driving AWS migrations from design to execution.
• Strong AWS infra experience: VPC, EC2, networking, storage.
• Strong app experience: dependencies and integration in AWS.
• Hands-on discovery experience is essential.
• Experience across multiple migration waves in programmes.
• Knowledge of AWS migration tooling: MGN, DMS, App Discovery Service, Migration Hub; AWS cert preferred.
