Millwright (Gas/Steam Turbines)

📋 Description

• Receive, inspect, and set trailer-mounted and skid-mounted gas turbines and generators
• Perform precision alignment of turbine-to-generator couplings, including laser and dial-indicator
• Land, level, grout, and anchor rotating equipment using hydraulic jacks, non-shrink grout, and
• Torque and control coupling and foundation hardware through each install
• Preserve idle turbomachinery until startup, including rotor barring, space heaters, and desiccant
• Assist OEM dry-crank and motoring of turbine packages

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years of hands-on millwright or industrial machinery installation experience
• Experience with large rotating machinery (gas turbines, compressors)
• Laser and dial-indicator alignment with soft-foot and thermal growth
• Experience with hydraulic jacks, grout, epoxy anchors
• Qualified rigger or crane signalperson
