mRNA Process Development Scientist

📋 Description

• Perform in vitro transcription (IVT) and purification (chromatography, tangential flow filtration)
• Perform analytical methods including but not limited to capillary gel electrophoresis (CGE), Akta
• Process the data and provide data summaries to team members and key stakeholders.
• Prepare buffers, reagents, and stock solutions used for process development activities, following
• Maintain an updated lab notebook, order materials, maintain lab equipment, and support equipment
• Uphold lab safety to the highest level of standards.

🎯 Requirements

• B.S. degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or biochemistry (or related field) with 1+ years of
• Experience with molecular biology and RNA biochemistry methods including IVT
• Experience with tangential flow filtration (TFF), capillary gel electrophoresis (CGE), Akta
• Experience with good documentation practices and electronic lab notebooks such as Benchling.

• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time-management skills.

• Compensation: $32.00-$41.00 per hour based on education and related experience
