NDE Specialist II, PAUT

📋 Description

• Lead feasibility studies, POD trials, and qualification plans for NDE with UT/PAUT Inspectors.
• Develop, document, and publish part-specific PAUT inspection techniques.
• Perform UT/PAUT inspections with established and advanced methods, ensuring reliability.
• Serve as primary SME and POC for UT/PAUT inspection development.
• Collaborate with internal teams to design, implement, and optimize automated inspection systems.

🎯 Requirements

• Current NDE Level II or III Certification in Ultrasonics (UT/PAUT).
• Minimum of 10 years total NDE experience; 6+ years in aerospace manufacturing or a heavily
• Experience across multiple projects of medium to high complexity; travel 10-25%.
• Open to supporting inspections outside primary methods (RT, ET, ECA, etc.).
• Mentor other specialists and inspectors; conduct internal audits and serve as technical POC for
• Familiarity with industry standards (NASA, AMS, AWS/ASME, ASTM) and QA/QC concepts; CAD experience
