Nurse Practitioner - Pain Management

📋 Description

• Conduct patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic test
• Develop individualized pain management plans using appropriate medications, therapies, and other
• Perform pain management procedures, such as joint injections, nerve blocks, and trigger point
• Prescribe and monitor pain medications, adjusting treatment as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and families on pain management, self-care, and lifestyle modifications.

🎯 Requirements

• Nurse Practitioner (NP): Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with NP training and an active
• Physician Assistant (PA): Bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant
• Active DEA registration or ability to obtain one as required for the role.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as an NP or PA; pain management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of pain assessment, treatment options, and evidence-based pain management practices.
• Current CPR/BLS certification; ACLS, PALS, or other relevant certifications are a plus, as
