Occupational Therapist

📋 Description

• Make home visits to clients in designated territories.
• Evaluate functional status, including muscle function, endurance, coordination, communication, ADL/IADL.
• Assess cognitive, psychological and motor performance; develop individualized intervention plans.
• Evaluate home environment for hazards or barriers to independence.
• Identify equipment needs and environmental adaptations to improve outcomes.
• Educate and instruct patients and families in rehabilitative care and independence.

🎯 Requirements

• Current New Jersey OT license.
• Home health experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year OT experience.
• Graduation from an OT program accredited by AMA/AOTA.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Solid computer skills; EMR experience preferred.
