Occupational Therapist - Home Health

📋 Description

• Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
• Evaluate functional status: muscle function, endurance, coordination, ADL/IADL.
• Assess cognitive, psychological, and motor performance; develop plans.
• Evaluate home environments for hazards to independent living.
• Identify equipment needs and environmental adaptations.
• Document observations and evaluations; coordinate with nursing.

🎯 Requirements

• Current Virginia OT license.
• Prior home care experience preferred, but not required.
• Minimum of one year of OT experience.
• Graduation from an OT program accredited by AMA/AOTA.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills.
