Occupational Therapist - Home Health Visits

📋 Description

• Make home visits to clients in designated territories.
• Evaluate functional status: muscle function, endurance, vision, communication, and ADL/IADL.
• Assess cognitive, psychological and motor aspects; develop individualized intervention plans.
• Evaluate home environment for hazards or barriers to independence.
• Identify equipment needs and environmental adaptations for better outcomes.
• Document observations and evaluations using a state of the art touch pad tablet.

🎯 Requirements

• A current Maryland Occupational Therapist license.
• Minimum one year of recent OT experience.
• Graduation from AMA/AOTA-accredited OT program.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills; good problem solving.
• Solid computer skills; EMR experience preferred.
